Brachioplasty, also called an Arm Lift, is a body contouring procedure that is performed to lift, smooth, and contour the appearance of the upper arms. Many people struggle with their upper arms, especially after fluctuations in weight or as they get older and their skin loses elasticity. Through the arm lift, excess skin is removed, and the underlying tissue is tightened. Sometimes the brachioplasty procedure is performed in combination with liposuction to also eliminate excess, stubborn pockets of fat.
When diet and exercise aren’t getting you the results you want to see in your upper arms, brachioplasty may be right option. The procedure is performed through an incision that may run along the inside or bottom of the upper arm from elbow to armpit, or it may just run along the armpit if a smaller about of rejuvenation is required. If you are ready to start a conversation about your options for rejuvenating your upper arms, contact our office today to schedule your consultation.
