Shahdi, RN, MSN, FNP
Shahdi Vakili graduated from California State Hayward with a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing in 2005. She has worked at top Bay Areas hospitals such as John Muir Medical center and Kaiser Permanente. During this time she decided to pursue her first passion in aesthetics and skin care, and began the journey that would take her into her future as an Aesthetic Nurse Specialist.
Shahdi’s first position as an aesthetics nurse was for a local medical spa. While there, she gained extensive knowledge in the application of BOTOX® Cosmetic, JUVÉDERM™, Dysport, Restylane and Perlane® injections. Advancing quickly, she also became very proficient in the application of IPL(photofacial), laser hair removal, Thermage, and Fraxel. She soon became Lead Aesthetic Nurse where she developed and maintained protocols, as well as hired and trained the nursing staff. Driven by a passion for learning and thirst for knowledge, Shahdi pursued further training from renowned cosmetic specialists in San Francisco and Los Angeles. She returned to school in 2010 to obtain her Master’s Degree in Nursing from Holy Names University.
Shahdi is recognized as a National Trainer for Sculptra Aesthetic, Galderma.
Shahdi is also certified as an Advanced Injector in Botox, Dysport and all Cosmetic fillers.
Shahdi believes that understanding the aging process is key. The redistribution of fat pads and bone loss are a major player in the laxity that we see in the skin as we age. We all age, but the most important thing to remember is we don’t all age at the same rate, or in the same manner. Each patient is an individual, and deserves a personalized care plan. Coming from a family of artists, Shahdi finds her career as an aesthetic practitioner a perfect blend of science and art.
Shahdi is married, and in her spare time, she loves working out, photography, biking, yoga and cooking.
