Laser technology has dramatically changed the treatment of both facial and leg veins. Patients with all skin types, both light and dark, can be treated.
Typical areas treated include small red vessels on the face or around the nose, larger blue or smaller red veins on the legs, or vascular lesions anywhere on the skin (hemangiomas, etc).
One or two treatment sessions are necessary, depending on the size and amount of the vessels. No anesthesia is necessary.
While some small vessels may show immediate improvement, most larger vessels take 6-8 weeks before finals results are visible.
